As 2022 Winds Down

Phew!

Hey there! And it is the last day of 2022. What a year! How has your year been? Was it a great year for you? I hope it was😊If it wasn’t,there is a whole, brand new year about to roll in and you have that and your whole life ahead of you by God’s grace.
I have been wanting to write for the past one week but I just realized that I had fleeting ideas of different things I would have or should have written about but I just wasn’t able to collect my thoughts sufficiently because I am kind of distracted, not in a bad way per se except that I just could not collect my thoughts to write.

I have this dull ache in my left jaw/ears right now,I saw a movie yesterday at the cinema and while munching on popcorn,I bit down on one of those unpopped seeds and it just gave me a really painful, jarring pain that went all the way into my left ear,I have never felt that kind of pain from eating anything ever before and no,I don’t have tooth pain, neither do I have cavities in my teeth. I am tempted to take pain relief but over the counter pain meds are usually a last resort for me. I hope it gets better.

Now,let’s talk about the incoming year. This one is just waiting to roll past so we may as well leave it where it will soon belong,in the past.
However, before we do that,I like to take stock of things I did, what I achieved, goals I set,and how many of these I actually did meet or surpass.

I do that not because I want to dwell on the things I can’t change but because I hope for better and so will do what I can to ensure that this happens, remember, the goal is just to do a little better today than yesterday as we all keep putting our best foot forward😊

This soon to come year, I wish for you all that you wish for yourself. I hope the new year ushers you into great things and into the beginning of the best times of your life. I pray that God leads you to the people you need to move forward and that God directs your path and grants you speed.

I do not want to make this too lengthy. I wish you the best of everything in the new year;people, growth, prosperity, connections, purpose and a renewed vigour to pursue your dreams.

Have a great new year and remember to love yourself even harder this year.
