On living life on your own terms and creating my own song .

Two weeks ago,I resigned from a job I took up about 15 months ago. I am a business owner, I have been for years,from selling everything I could lay my hands on in university to service year,to building my business over the past nine years.
I have never been one to sit around and wait for life. I have absolute faith in God and I know from experience that he always blesses my ‘work’.
Now,in the past week,I have had so many people ask me,”why did you leave? ” A casual friend said to me,”ah if na me,five years from now,I never ready to comot there o” it made me really laugh. I am chuckling now as I remember. Everybody seems to have thought it was a dream job, nyen nyen nyen…maybe,maybe not.
You see,life for me is in phases, and everything for me has a timeline,each and everyone of us have our timelines,it is up to you how you want to use yours. The timeline of the job expired. It served its purpose and I am grateful for the experience. I left because I don’t do comfort zones any more. I also left for my peace of mind. I need to keep moving and when I grow past a thing,I take the lessons and move on. I learnt all that I could in those 15 months,what I learnt in that time may take someone else 5 years,another ,10 years,another ,1 year and another, 6 months. I met and worked with some of the most remarkable people , I built good relationships with some of them,they challenged me and some I will always keep in touch with.
Growth is what I strive for everyday,I seek to be better today than I was yesterday,I want to evolve everyday,I find new challenges and I place myself on a timeline. I am like the American pit bull, if I were to change to a dog,I will choose that breed. LOL. I am stubborn and dogged,if I want a thing,I chase it,I never give up. I live my life on my own terms,not anyone else’s. Give yourself the permission to grow and to be all you can be.
I am up and about,I need a shop/workspace, and yes this is to let you all know that TRENDY KIDS’ is Back and better. I have moved out of the former address. As soon as I have a new one,be sure you will hear about it,whether you like it or not. He he he.. Also Introducing, Trendy Apparels! TRENDY KIDDIES’ N APPARELS is my brand,I have worked hard for it,I am working hard for it and I pray and trust God to bless it.
I had this game my dad bought for me when I was in junior secondary school,it had a part where it always said “Create your own song” and it would then display the notes and let you choose the notes for whatever song you wanted to create. I can still hear it in my head;this is me, creating my own song and also saying to you “Create your own beautiful song and be happy while doing it”
