I was helping Nicole out with her vocabulary assignment when I glanced at Oba;he was climbing the window and I said “HB,see your son”,hubby turned and he laughed saying “that is the Olagboye gene in action”I laughed too and went back to Nicole’s work,she then asked me “mum,why did you say daddy should look at his son?was it not you who gave birth to him,daddy didn’t really participate so he is not daddy’s son,he is yours”😨 Erm,I said we both gave birth to you two,and she asked how? I knew when you were pregnant with Oba,daddy did not help you carry the tummy and you were the one who went to hospital and took all the injection,so how did daddy give birth to us?
By now,hubby had disappeared into the room😧I then tried to explain “well,you see,you are both a combination of both of us,your daddy’s genes and mine came together to form you,that is why you took our best features”, She said,okay? But I know it was God who made me and put me in your tummy,are you saying God took some of daddy’s genes while he was sleeping and put it together with yours to make me and put me in your stomach? Erm, something like that but your daddy was not exactly sleeping. She looked more confused,and like she was about to ask some more questions,so I quickly said,yes!you have it all figured out.You are such a brilliant child 😀She smiled and we went back to our vocabulary building. Phew!Saved from a premature sex education class😂😂
