Lingerie Lust

Hey there!

How have you been? How is everything at your end, great I hope? If so,doxology!😀

You remember this? Who started that nonsense in the first place?🤣

In continuation of the ” find your beautiful” post,I have a small confession.I promise the tomboy issue is not so bad,😅Someone once said to me,”you think you are a full on tomboy but you are too genteel to be one”. What does this even mean😒.

Oh well! I have a small confession.I am not the typical tomboy in some aspects. I have a few girlie parts🙈 just a teeny weeny girlie part.
I love love beautiful lingerie. It seems to be an addiction. I have been trying to break this habit but so far,I have not succeeded. Even if I have a thousand undies, which by the way I don’t, I would still buy some more. This is one thing I love to splurge on. Surprised?🤣

My brother,B,used to call me “Towoju Marcos”,a lot of people who were close to us knew he called me this but most people don’t know how he came by that name, when I was in my late teens and started actually getting money of my own I would go to Yaba/Tejuosho market and roam the markets in search of the most frilly, beautiful, flimsy panties and bras I could find. I love lingerie.

There were two things I used to go to that market for, books and lingerie. So there was this day,I was searching for something in my pants bag,(yup! I have a bag dedicated to undies🙈)and realized there were so many of my undies I had not worn,I decided to just wash all of my undies even though were all clean.
Just as I finished spreading them on the lines,my dad drove in and saw them and was like “why do you have so many panties and bras? Are you Imelda Marcos?”(The Phillipino that was said to have over a thousand panties)

My brother laughed so much and that was how the Marcos name stuck, the Towoju part of it will have to be told another day😅

I think beautiful, frilly underwear are one of the things every woman should spend her money on. I feel so beautiful and confident in the right underwear and this is not even about anybody else. I mean I have loved them since my early teens,I was not sexually active through my teenage years so it wasn’t even about all of that.

When I wear something I love, there is just that extra spring in my steps even though no one else sees or knows what I see or have on. I still feel so beautiful and confident in it😄.

Now,you see ‘mama pants’ I hate them! Like, why would you take your money to the market and buy yourself an ugly pant or bra with no shape,no definition,no frills,na vavavoom? Why?

Most times,I think I am in a world of my own with the things I like, the way I see things and so on. For someone who dresses outwardly mostly for comfort as well as fit and for someone who is in the business of clothes,I love lingeries a little too much😅 .

Do you have something you love a little too much? See,life is hard,if that little something you love makes you happy and does not hurt you or the next person,by all means! This is my excuse and I am sticking to it😅.

Do have a great week and remember,a little kindness goes a long way 😘

  1. I used to have…. Perfumes…. I used to collect perf bottles sef…. 🤣 🤣 🤣

    But then depression came and…. 🤣 🤣 🤣

    1. Depression is a road that is really difficult to travel… So you no longer collect perfumes? I love perfumes too but it is not a ‘hobby
‘I can fund too comfortably just yet.

  2. Interesting story. I love your Dad already. I collect perfumes and books. The books I don’t read from cover to cover 90% of the time. However, when I do open a book, I open to the page I really need at the time I opened it. I also buy magazines and pick up free ones at 5 star hotels and malls worldwide. I once paid excess laggage for books and mags in the tune of $200.00 why I hate Ethiad airlines as they don’t bill for extra KG. They just slap the excess baggage bill in blocks.
