What is your plan for the year 2020?

It is is a brand new year! Today is the 8th day of the new year, how is your year going?

We have celebrated the birth of Christ at Christmas,we have celebrated the new year, we ate jollof rice, chicken, goat meat, chin chin ,cake, wine and the whole works. So what next? Some of us have posted on habits to stop in 2020,some have posted “A new year,a new me”😁

However,no matter how we wish each other a happy new year no matter how hard we pray that it will be a prosperous year that will bring us all the money and everything we have ever wished for. If we fail to plan and set goals for the year,we may be planning to just watch the year gallop by as we wait for another December 31st to say another “Happy New Year” again.

I am a bible believing Christian and I believe that every thing we need to live our lives in the best way possible can be found in the bible. You don’t believe me? You don’t need to take my word for it,why not try it out yourself? Try reading a book of proverbs per day.Oops! I digress.

What I was going to point out before I got carried away is in Luke 14:28 “For which of you, wanting to build a tower doesn’t first sit down and calculate the cost to see if he has enough to complete it?” Put simply, it is important to plan towards everything to ensure its success. Thus,to have a successful year, one has to plan, work and pray towards it.

For instance,I have decided that this year is a year to go after all of my interests without holding myself back or trying to focus so much on the financial implications of my dreams and goals. That is,interests asides buying and selling, fashion, food, writing and so on.

I started the year with paid courses that will enable me pursue my interests in nutrition so as to become a certified nutrition therapist/consultant as well as a certified diet and weightloss therapist, awesome yea?
I have always been interested in food, nutrition and health. I have invested in books on these. More than 45% of my browsing history revolves around these topics and I often wonder what I would do with all the knowledge I have on these topics.
Before now , I was always worried about pursuing too many things at the same time.

However, over the years,I have come to realize that most of us do not explore our full capacity. We hold ourselves back under the guise of not doing too much when perhaps what we are really scared of is failing or falling flat on our faces.😊

So I ask you, what is thag thing that you have always wanted to do but are too afraid to do or even think about? What have you always hoped to save for but you have never really gotten round to it? Is there a business partnership or deal you have been too afraid to even contemplate because the parties involved seem way out of your league?

Have you always wanted to own property in a choice area but the financial implications will not even let you consider it? You can plan for everything you want to do or you can at least start from today. Every single drop of water counts when you are working towards filling a drum. You can start right where you are.

For everything you want to do,write it down. The why,the how,the when, the where, even the who. You may just surprise yourself this year 2020.

2020 is going to be a good year. Believe it,plan for it,work for it,act it and watch yourself have a great year.😁

  1. To be very honest, I stopped having new year plans, resolution since 2017. I just pray and hope for the best.

    1. Plans are a good thing. It helps you to chart your course for the year plus you are able to keep track of what you are doing, have done and have to do. You should try it again.

  2. Long time supporter, and thought I’d drop a comment.

Your wordpress site is very sleek – hope you don’t mind me asking what theme you’re
using? (and don’t mind if I steal it? :P)

I just launched my site –also built in wordpress
like yours– but the theme slows (!) the site down quite a bit.

In case you have a minute, you can find it by searching for “royal cbd” on Google (would
appreciate any feedback) – it’s still in the works.

Keep up the good work– and hope you all take care of yourself
    during the coronavirus scare!
